Game Update 0.40.1 – Balance and Bug Fixes Galore!

Balance changes:

  • Clear Mind: Change mana cost from 2 to 1. Change text from ‘Foresee 2’ to ‘Foresee 1’.
  • Sand Scorpion: Change text from ‘Deadly. Roar: Select a creature from your void and trigger its afterlife’ to ‘Deadly. Roar: Select an Anubian from your void and trigger its afterlife’.
  • Enrage: Change mana cost from 2 to 1
  • Flourish: Change mana cost from 2 to 1
  • Polyhymnia, Aetheric Hydra: Changed stats from 3/12 to 6/12. Changed text from “Frontline. Protected. Ward. Regen 6. Armor 6. At the end of your turn, give protected and ward to your god and to this creature” to “Frontline. Protected. Ward. Armor 4. At the end of your turn, give ward to this creature”.
  • Bronze Gate: Change health from 4 to 3
  • Lantern-Bound Fae: Change text from “Order 3. When this creature loses order, pull it into your hand and reduce its cost by 2. Roar: Deal 4 damage to a random enemy character” to “Order 3. When this creature loses order, pull it into your hand and reduce its cost by 2. Roar: Deal 3 damage to an enemy creature”
  • Sern, The Moderator: Change stats from 4/5 to 2/5
  • Eva, Baroness of the Dead: Change text from” Afterlife: Transform a random creature that costs 4 or less into a 1/1 Zombie, and give it this afterlife” to “Afterlife: Transform a random creature that costs 3 or less into a 1/1 Zombie, and give it this afterlife.”
  • Pan Forgemaster: Change stats from 2/1 to 3/3
  • Another Round: Change text from “Give a friendly creature +3/+3 and at the end of your turn, if you are frenzied, give a random creature in your hand +3/+3.” to “Give a friendly creature +3/+3 and “At the end of your turn, if you are frenzied, give a random creature in your hand +1/+1.
  • Armor Lurker: Change text from “Hidden. Armor 1. When this creature loses hidden, remove 1 armor from it.” to “Hidden. Armor 2. When this creature loses hidden, remove 1 armor from it”
  • Strix Conscript: Change health from 1 to 2
  • Prison Escapee: Change stats from 2/1 to 3/2
  • Shackled Acolyte: Change mana cost to 2. Changed text from “Order 3. When this creature loses order, double its strength and health.” To “Order 3. When this creature loses order, give it +2/+2.”
  • Gorgon Gargoyle: Change from 1 health to 2
  • Giant Pangolin: Change stats from 7 mana 8/1 to 6 mana 6/4. Change from armor 6 to armor 2
  • Moon-Crazed Cyclops: Change stats from 2/2 to 3/3
  • Raging Giant: Change stats from 6/6 to 7/7
  • Snapping Turtle: Change stats from 6/1 to 6/2
  • Spring’s Harvest: Change from 4 mana to 3
  • Monolith of Storms: Change stats from 4/4 to 5/5. Change text from “Order 10. After you play a spell, give +1 strength to this creature. Ability: Deal damage to an enemy character equal to this creature’s strength, then set this creature’s strength to 0" to “Order 10. After you play a spell, give +2 strength to this creature. Ability: Deal damage to an enemy character equal to this creature’s strength, then set this creature’s strength to 0.”
  • Guardian Simulacrum: Change stats from 5/3 to 4/6
  • Wall of Lightning: Change health from 4 to 5
  • Cursed Obelisks: Change mana cost from 5 to 3
  • Miasmic Forge: Change mana cost from 3 to 2
  • Inquisitor Informant: Change stats from 2/1 to 2/2
  • Venerable Paladin: Add frontline
  • Shielded by Light: Change from 3 mana to 1. Changed text from “Give +5 armor to one of your creatures until the start of your next turn." To "Give +3 armor to one of your creatures until the start of your next turn."
  • Lips Are Sealed: Change from 6 mana to 5. Changed text from “Give order +6 to each creature with strength 3 or more." To "Give order +5 to each creature with strength 4 or more."
  • Divine Chains: Change stats from 2/6 to 4/7
  • Thaeriel’s Anvil: Change from 8 mana to 9. Updated text due to the change on divine chains
  • Aggravated Architect: Add ward, change health from 3 to 4
  • Anubian Redeemer: Change stats from 6 mana 5/3 to 5 mana 4/5
  • Animated Armory: Change stats from 4/1 to 2/5.
  • Excommunicate: Change mana cost from 6 to 5
  • Vortimer the Volatile: Change stats from 3 mana 1/2 to 2 mana 2/3
  • Radiant Dawn: Change mana cost from 7 to 3, Change text from “Heal one of your characters for 15. Give protected to each of your characters.” to “Your creatures gain +1/+2 and Remove sleep from this creature at the end of each turn.”
  • Duergar Priest: Change text from “Roar: Heal your god for 4.” To “Roar: Heal your god for 2.”
  • Boil-Blood Outlaw: Changed text from "After this creature attacks it gains +2 strength" To "After this creature attacks it gains +1 strength."

Fixes:

  • Unlived Pandora, The Curious due to an ongoing issue with Box. We're working on a bug fix but didn't want to leave it live in the meantime!
  • Fixed an issue where Divine Order cards with Overkill would have their Overkill damage blocked by Ward.
  • Fixed an issue where Excommunicate would not give the player favor.
  • Fixed an issue where Miraculous Familiar could add 2 spells to player's hand.
  • Fixed an issue where Golden Harpe would not lose 1 durability correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where Outnumber the Living did not gain the Frenzied VFX while in player's hand.
  • Fixed an issue where Priestess of Takhat's card text would activate when it was destroyed.
  • Fixed an issue where Hierophant Silenus would add a placeholder card to player's hand.
  • Fixed an issue where Chieftain Of Impulse would activate from transformed or swapped creatures.
  • Fixed an issue where Divine Order cards would not count the Nether anim cards summoned by Daemonic Offering.
  • Fixed an issue where Out Of Its Misery would pull a creature to player's hand when it failed to kill a creature.
  • Fixed an issue where Guerilla Sabotage would not pull target creature to opponent's hand after popping its Ward.
  • Fixed an issue where Ashen Drake, Tartessian Mob and Trial of the Innocents' split damage effect was not being blocked by ward.
