Some cards are set in stone, others move with the tide.
Balancing aims to keep the game fair, with Core & Welcome sets being open to balance, as well as cards that are still in their Balancing Phase, such as Trial of the Gods.

Hello Mortals! In this week’s balance update we’re focusing on lowering the power level of some of the stronger cards in the game. The goal of this update is to shake the metagame up. Light has been consistently overperforming at the top level so it has been dealt the most nerfs.
We’ve also taken aim at Echophon as we want players to be using non-neutral 9 mana legendaries more often. Lastly, we have a buff to a legendary that only filled a niche role before. I hope you enjoy, and please let me know if you have any feedback on Reddit!
Thalia, Charite Temptress – Changed from 2/2 “Roar: Pull any spells in your opponent’s hand that cost 2 or less onto the bottom of their deck.” to 4/3 “Roar: Pull any cards in your opponent’s hand that cost 2 or less onto the bottom of their deck.”
Jinxblade Duelist – Changed from “At the end of each turn, this creature gets +1 health.” to “At the end of each turn, give this creature +1 health if your opponent controls a creature.”
Switch Duelist – Changed from 4/1 to to 3/1. Added “Hidden for 1 turn.”
Veteran Hoplite – Changed from 2/6 to 2/5.
Arrow of Rage – Changed from 1 mana to 2 mana.
Blood Ritual – Changed from “Give a friendly creature +1/-1 permanently, and give it leech until the end of your turn” to “Give a friendly creature +1/-1. Heal your god for 2.”
Isadora, Daring Patrician – Changed from 3 to 2 health.
Echophon, Atlantean Hydra – Changed from 12 health to 10 health. Removed ward.
Ritual Rod – Changed from 2/3 to 2/2 “Roar: Add 1 durability to this relic if you control a Mystic.”
